Valentine's Day Party

We had such a great time at our Valentine's Day Party this afternoon! Scholars started the fun by entering their decorated boxes into a contest under the categories of "Most Creative," "Most Festive," and "Most STEM-Inspired." Scholars then had an anonymous (close your eyes and raise your hand) vote to choose the winners! It must have been difficult to choose because all of the decorated boxes were fantastic! Next, students worked on a Valentine's Day crossword and had paper to make valentines before we joined Ms. Nuhu's class for some "Minute to Win It" games. Finally, we passed out valentines and enjoyed some ice cream!

I am so grateful for all of the wonderful cards and chocolate gifts that I received. Thank you!

Scholars used a variety of digital databases and resources that Ms. Berumen prepared to learn about the lives, accomplishments, and character traits of several famous golfers! Be sure to ask your child who they researched and what they learned about them!
