Texas Rangers Winter Caravan

Texas Rangers Players came to Cannon Elementary as part of their "Winter Caravan." Scholars eagerly listened to sportscasters Steve Busby and Eleno Ornelas as they introduced Wilmer Font, Martin Perez, and Mike Olt. Mr. Busby asked the players about what they wanted to be when they grew up and about their memories from school. Players spoke about how important it is to respect parents and teachers, work hard in school, and to get a college education. The Texas Rangers team mascot Rangers Captain also made a special appearance and acted out a story about how it's okay to be different and to never give up!

Final Performances!

Scholars did an excellent job performing their plays! There are two "versions" of each play (recorded on iPads) to ensure a successful recording. They also evaluated the performances of other groups!

Yearbook Orders

The last day to order yearbooks online for $18 is this Tuesday, Jan. 15. We will continue to take orders later, but the cost will go up to $20.
