We had a wonderful time today visiting Nash Farm. While it is only a few acres now, at its greatest size it was 540 acres, extending from Ball and Wall across Highway 114 and west to the high school stadium.
Scholars learned all about the Nash family, who moved to the area in 1854. They also learned about keeping chickens, working in a barn, day-to-day life in the 1800s, bees, windmills, and gardening.
