What an honor it was to hear from Medal of Honor recipient Doc Ballard,
music artist Corrine Chapman, and retired Army pilot Gary Linfoot at our
Friday Assembly! Gary Linfoot, a former U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer
and former pilot with the "Night Stalkers," was paralyzed from the
waist down when he crashed in an Iraqi desert. He is the first veteran
to receive and use an exoskeleton device that straps onto his waist and
legs. Our scholars listened as our guests shared their experiences, and
they participated in the assembly by waving American flags to make our
military heroes feel welcome! ArmyTimes Video: Paralyzed Soldier Walks Again CNN Article: A Wounder Warrior, Walking Tall
